The question has been posed. What are you actually up to Chris? People are actually wondering when some stories will appear.

It’s somewhat gratifying that people who have heard bits and pieces are actively curious, but I’m trying to walk into this as prepared as a novice possibly could be.
So what am I doing? I am:

• reading fiction novels with my daughter
• reading books about the art/craft of writing
• preparing for the holidays
• catching up on a few political books I haven’t finished
• trying to find time for more mature fiction

Its a long list and I still have to squeeze all that in to the time left after all the basic responsibilities of being a father, husband, and good employee. Oh, and playing video games. I can’t forget about video games. After all, my first several stories will almost certainly be fan fiction. Kilvari has a 25 year history in games and stories, dating back from the old AD&D days through EQ1 and now EQ2. Rizok is only a few years old and still maturing in my mind. His stories are still evolving, revolving mostly around EQ1, City of Heroes, and now EQ2. Several short stories, mostly origin stories, concerning other City of Heroes characters are partially evolved in my mind as well.These are what I will use to practice my skills. From there I hope to spring into more original works. A few of those ideas are loosely formed in my mind, but they need time to mature and practice to be told well. Once I get to that point, I hope there will be more than a few people interested in seeing what I can produce.
